Qualitative analysis of incineration ash using ICP

Appropriately determine the processing method! It is possible to connect to recycling and resource utilization.

We would like to introduce our "ICP Qualitative Analysis of Incineration Ash." By treating incineration ash with appropriate acids and dissolving it through alkaline fusion, we can measure it using an ICP emission spectrometer, allowing us to understand the types of components and their approximate concentrations in the incineration ash. Additionally, we can identify trace components alongside the main components, enabling us to appropriately determine the type of waste and treatment methods. 【Features】 ■ Ability to identify trace components in addition to main components ■ Capability to accurately determine the type of waste ■ Potential to contribute to recycling and resource utilization *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Qualitative Analysis of Organic Materials Used in Perovskite Solar Cells

We will conduct qualitative evaluation of organic materials, focusing on hall transport materials, using LC/MS.

Perovskite solar cells are composed of various types of organic materials depending on their purpose and role. This document presents an example of qualitative analysis of organic materials using LC/MS. By utilizing high-resolution MS spectra and MS/MS spectra, we were able to identify hole transport materials and additives in the hole transport layer. It is also possible to quantify the identified materials by comparing between samples or using standard samples. Measurement method: LC/MS Product field: Solar cells Analysis purpose: Composition evaluation and identification For more details, please download the document or contact us.

Qualitative analysis of drugs using portable FT-IR and impurity search functions.

[Free Gift] Introduction to Case Studies on Qualitative Analysis of Dangerous Drugs

Drugs include stimulants, narcotics, cannabis, and dangerous drugs, each possessing various chemical and pharmacological characteristics. To crack down on criminal activities such as the smuggling and sale of controlled substances, there is an urgent need to rapidly identify each component contained in drugs. This document introduces qualitative analysis cases of dangerous drugs using infrared spectrometers suitable for drug analysis and the mixture search function, which is effective as a spectral analysis tool. [Contents] ■ Introduction ■ Analytical Methods ■ Library and Contaminant Search Function - Example: Analysis of pure substance drugs - Example: Analysis of cocaine hydrochloride mixed drugs - Example: Analysis of crack ■ Conclusion ■ References *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Analysis Case] Qualitative Analysis of Medium Components (LC-TOFMS)

It is possible to identify components that significantly contribute to the characteristics of the culture medium and the results of the cultivation through qualitative analysis using non-target analysis, inter-sample comparison, and principal component analysis.

In many studies using cultured cells, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of components contained in culture media and culture supernatants has gained attention and is increasingly being utilized in recent years. Understanding the components present in the media provides valuable information for improving the efficiency of cell culture. Here, we present a non-target analysis of media components using liquid chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-TOFMS) through library searches, using commercially available media as examples, along with comparisons between samples and principal component analysis of the results. [Analysis Samples] Commercially available media A, B, and C [Analysis Equipment] LC-TOFMS *For detailed results, please refer to the PDF document. Qualitative analysis through non-target analysis of media components, along with comparisons between samples and principal component analysis of the results, allows for the identification of components that significantly contribute to the characteristics of the media and the outcomes of the culture. This information is expected to be useful for enhancing the results of cell culture.

Qualitative analysis of organic compounds by FT-IR.

Solving customer problems with advanced analysis and "analytical skills"! We select appropriate preprocessing methods and measurement techniques.

In "FT-IR measurement," by examining the components of extremely small foreign substances, effective countermeasures can be developed. Compounds absorb specific infrared light energy in certain wavelength regions based on their structure. By knowing which wavelength region of light energy was absorbed, we can determine the types of elements that make up the compound and their bonding states. For sampling micro foreign substances, small samples are collected using a micro-sampling device while confirming the sample with a digital microscope. Micro-sampling allows for the collection of foreign substances as small as approximately 30 micrometers, and even buried micro foreign substances can be collected and measured. 【Measurement Principle】 - When infrared light is irradiated on the measurement sample, a unique spectrum corresponding to the molecular structure is obtained. - By comparing the spectrum with a database or the spectrum of a reference substance, the identification of the sample is performed. - Qualitative analysis of the main components of rubber and resin. - Qualitative analysis of foreign substances adhered to or mixed in products. - Confirmation of structural changes in compounds due to thermal treatment. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Qualitative analysis of generated gases from products using thermal decomposition GC/MS method.

Solving customer problems with advanced analysis and "analytical skills"! Qualitative analysis of product off-gassing.

The manufacturing of products involves heating processes such as firing and drying. By analyzing which gases are generated at which temperature ranges, we can implement measures against the emitted gases. "EGA analysis" stands for Evolved Gas Analysis, where samples placed in a specialized cup are subjected to force heating in a dedicated device equipped with a heating furnace, and the generated gases are directly introduced into a GC-MS. The obtained data is referred to as a thermogram, and the peak intensity indicates the total amount of gas generated and introduced into the GC at that temperature. "Zone analysis" estimates the temperature ranges at which gases are emitted from the thermogram obtained through the EGA method. The temperature ranges are called Zones, and we identify which components of gas are generated in each temperature range. 【Features】 ■EGA Analysis - Allows confirmation of which temperature range gases are emitted from the thermogram. ■Zone Analysis - Conducts analysis by specifying temperature regions, enabling confirmation of which temperature range gases are emitted. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Qualitative analysis by dispersion dyeing method

Demonstrating effectiveness in identifying types of asbestos.

As a method to distinguish asbestos fibers from other fibrous substances, it is possible to confirm the presence of the target asbestos fibers by utilizing the difference in refractive indices between the asbestos fibers and other fibrous substances and optically coloring them.
